This morning we spent 4 hours on this case with 2 new crowns and 4 veneers. As you can see from the first photo, the patient wasn’t very happy with her current smile, especially with the 2 crowns on the upper right canine and right central incisor. In order to improve her smile, the 2 old crowns and 4 new veneers will be necessary to transform her looks. You might ask, why are those 2 teeth so dark? It is because they have been discolored by the root canal treatments done many years ago. Almost all teeth will discolor after root canals. Before this patient left the office, we made her a set of provisional veneers and crowns so she can test-drive the new teeth.
