Dr. Nelson Chen, DDS
Dentist
Dr. Nelson Chen grew up right here in Bellevue, Washington. He attended Tillicum Middle School and Sammamish High School and is pleased to offer beautiful smiles to his friends and neighbors with the best dental care possible. He received his Bachelors of Arts degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley in 2000 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the world-renowned University of Washington School of Dentistry in 2004.
Dr. Chen has been recognized as "America's Top Dentist" by the Consumers Research Council of America and as a Top Dentist from Seattle Met. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle King County Dental Society.
Dr. Chen's dedication to providing the best dental care is evident in his commitment to lifelong training. He actively participates in dental study groups, takes advanced coursework, and attends multiple dental seminars each year. This extensive training, combined with the most advanced dental equipment and materials available, allows Dr. Chen to offer a level of treatment not commonly found in other offices. His current areas of focus include cosmetic dental solutions.

When not in his office, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with his wife, Grace, and children, Emily and Ethan. He also enjoys photography, reading dental research articles, playing tennis, drawing, and painting. Dr. Chen is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

Hi there! My name is Grace, and I grew up right here in Bellevue and went to Newport High School. I then graduated from the University of the Pacific in CA in 2001 with a degree in accounting. After working in an accounting firm in Cupertino for a few years, I moved back to Washington and earned my degree in MBA from the City University of Seattle in Bellevue.
I am in dentistry because of Dr. Chen! I love meeting new patients and always enjoy helping them with their scheduling and administrative needs. It's truly an honor to assist many people while making new friends.
In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with my kids.

Hello, my name is Norma! I was born and raised in Seattle and reside in the Auburn area. While in high school, I discovered my passion for the dental field. I attended Occupational Skills Center and learned the aspects of dentistry and helping patients. In 2009, I graduated from Renton Technical College as a DANB-certified dental assistant. I've been in the dental field for over ten years and love connecting with each patient.
I enjoy working alongside Dr. Chen because of his gentle care and concern for every patient. We always put the patient and their concerns first, and we go above and beyond for every patient.
Outside of my dental assisting life, I enjoy spending my time with my loving husband and our fur babies, Roxy (dog), Garfield (cat), and Dory (cat). I also enjoy painting and going on road trips.
